Godfrey Rantshabeng is the Head of Supply Chain for Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board. His primary role is to optimize the organisation through modern glit-edge supply chain strategies, to ensure sustainable food security of the country.
Mr Rantshabeng is a seasoned supply chain, quality and business optimization professional, with over 19 years of experience in the industry. He has notable experience in the mining sector, where he has held a couple of leadership positions for Debswana Diamond Company in Botswana and De Beers Group of Companies in South Africa.
His remarkable speaking experience include being a Speaker at the Post Harvest Seminar, in Optimization of Agricultural Supply Chains in Kaifeng City, China in 2023. He has also been hosted as the keynote speaker in sessions such as Agricultural Supply Chain Infrastructural Investments, professionalization of the Procurement and business continuity seminars.
Mr. Rantshabeng is a PhD candidate in Business & Management with the University of Zambia. He holds a Master’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, BSc Degree in Supply Chain Management, and a couple of Diplomas, ranging from Procurement and Supply, Logistics, Engineering and Quality Management.
