He has over 30 years’ experience in the purchasing and supply profession, including Manufacturing, Logistics, Services and Events. As Vice President for AXA Financial, Head of Supply Chain at Aviva and the Olympic Games. Steve has won a number of industry awards including professional of the year and for the Global Procurement College recognised for outstanding people training and development by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS).
Stephen holds an MBA in Strategic Procurement and is a Fellow and past Board member of CIPS. As a Group Procurement Director Stephen has a proven track record of success and acknowledged delivery. Transforming complex Purchasing & Supply Chain functions.
Stephen was instrumental in the success of contract negotiations at the Olympic Games reducing contracted value from £350m to £256m with subsequent clauses protecting Government and the tax payer.
