Deputy Head: Supply Chain Operations

Sandile headed up supply chain operations at eThekwini Municipality for over 8 years at an Executive level. His responsibilities included inter alia Accountability for contracts, stores and inventory, purchasing and disposal in the city of Durban; he was the ‘Owner of the SCM Process’, managing supply chain processes and worked effectively with Provincial Treasury on various Policies & Acts. Sandile is one of the six co-founders of CIPS SA and was a director and chairperson of IPSA. He has served as consultant or board member to companies such as MIDICOVER Board; UKZN; and Durban Chamber of Commerce, where he advised on procurement and finance matters. Sandile is one of the 5 trustees of the CIPS South African Board of Trustee and is also the vice-chair of KZN Coastal Collage as ministerial appointee to council.
