Biography

Bruno Vandemeulebroecke

Bruno Vandemeulebroecke joined HELP Logistics in 2021 as Regional Director for West Africa. Previously, Bruno Vandemeulebroecke filled the crucial role of Deputy Global Coordinator for the Logistics Cluster for four years. In that role, he focused on deepening the partnership with and between humanitarian actors, donors, governments, and the private and academic sectors, contributing or driving strategic projects on data analysis, partnership engagement, or environmental sustainability. Bruno Vandemeulebroecke brings over ten years of field and headquarters experience as Emergency Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator and Logistics officer with a number of NGO’s. He has worked in sudden-onset emergencies and complex emergencies ranging from Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, Libya, Nepal and others. Outside the humanitarian sector, he has seven years of experience in general management, project management and supply chain management in the private sector. He has led supply chain operations and organisational development projects in several countries. His graduation Cum Laude in Political Sciences from KULeuven contributed to a strong interest in strategic topics and context inclusive analysis.
