Biography

Prof Paul Lalvani

Prof Paul Lalvani has over 25 years of experience and has worked in developed and developing countries with health and humanitarian organizations. He has advised board members, ministers of health and heads of state on strategy, vision, and impact.  

Paul is founder and Director of Empower, and the Center for Digital Learning (CDL), which is guided by our work at Empower School of Health and Empower School of Animation. The mission for the Centre for Digital Learning is to revolutionize the way people learn, work, and save lives! CDL plays a key role in designing, developing, and deploying digital learning platforms and digital content for Ministries of Health, UN agencies, International NGOs, and Private Sector organizations.  

Some of the organizations that Paul has supported while at Empower include Ministries of Health of more than 30 countries, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, President Kufuor’s Foundation in Ghana, The Global Fund, George Soros’ Open Society Institute, various UN agencies (WHO, WHO, UNICEF, UNAIDS), Roll Back Malaria Partnership, The Global Fund, Asia Pacific Leaders’ Malaria Alliance, and others.
