Biography

Patrick Gaparayi

Patrick Gaparayi is a supply chain manager at UNICEF supply division and team lead for the country engagement and policy unit within supply chain strengthening Centre. In this capacity, he oversees the work around people in supply chains, supply chain professionalization, supply chain transformation as part of building resilient and sustainable supply chains for children and their families and he oversees the country engagement and policy. He represents UNICEF in People that Deliver coalition (PtD) and he is the co-chair of the newborn and child health commodities withing the global Child Health taskforce.

A pharmacist by profession with more than 17 years of experience in public health supply chain management across multiple countries and in different roles, he defines himself as a lifelong learner. He has an international masters in health economics and pharmacoeconomics (Barcelona Business School, Pompeu Fabra University), a minimasters in Global Procurement and Supply Chain (Arizona State University) and a post-graduate certificate in strategic human resources management (Roehempton University).
